Spring House Product Overview

Water coming into the house from municipal water systems or a well pump. Most water from these sources may contain many contaminants including chlorine, lead, and bacteria.

This product is not intended to purify non-drinkable sources of water. Do not use where water is microbiologically unsafe, or of questionable quality.

Seven Steps Of Water Purification

Stage 1: SpringHouse’s 20-Micron filter prepares the water for treatment by reducing sediment, sand, and large particles. This ensures that the remaining technologies will not become overwhelmed, thereby ensuring maximum performance.

Stage 2: The SpringHouse™ MAZ filter, through oxidation and passive filtration, reduces the levels of iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulphide (that rotten egg smell), plus smaller particles down to 10 microns in size.

Stage 3: The KDF uses dissimilar metals to cause changes in the chemical make-up of many chemical contaminants, neutralizing them. It also kills bacteria and microorganisms (like coliform and salmonella), and changes the physical shape of hardness causing chemicals to reduce formation and build-up of scale.

Stage 4: The UV system uses disinfecting Ultra-Violet light to kill viruses and microorganisms.

Stage 5: The GAC filter removes any remaining chlorine and chlorine by-products, VOC’s, MTBE, and substances that effect taste and odor.

Stage 6: A sequestering agent is used to make the water feel soft and reduce deposits of minerals that cause scale in pipes, coffee makers, and showers.

Stage 7: Finally, SpringHouse™ ends the process with a 1-Micron filter to remove any residual micro-organism presence, extremely small particles like cryptosporidium, and parasitic cysts. The end result is clean refreshing water for use at every tap in the home.
